Former NBA Player Michael Jordan Donation to Autistic Fan

Jeffrey Harrison, a 33-year-old native of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, was photographed playing pick-up basketball in a full Jordan uniform. Jordan reportedly called him, wrote him a letter and sent gifts.

About a month ago, KREM 2’s Darnay Tripp did a story on Jeffrey Harrison, a 33-year-old man who has been playing pickup basketball in a full Michael Jordan uniform since 2010. A clip of Harrison playing in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on the Fourth of July had gone viral. Harrison has autism, and he has revered Jordan since he was 4 years old.

Jordan, of course, was a cutthroat competitor and an intense teammate. As a player, he was devoted to destroying his opponents, avenging perceived slights and proving that he was the best. When he heard about Harrison, though, he did something sweet.

According to KREM 2, Jordan’s manager showed him the story, and the greatest player of all-time wanted to surprise Harrison. So he sent him a couple of boxes of gear …
