At Least 2 Injured in Drive-By Shooting at Baby Shower in DunellenDUNELLEN, NEW JERSEY – An unidentified shooter targeted a baby shower at the Dunellen Annex on the 100 block of Washington Avenue Sunday and was seen leaving in a white SUV, police said. An investigation is ongoing.

Police are on the scene of a shooting with one person injured at this time in the city.

Reports of shots fired in the 100 block of Washington Avenue has police andEMS checking one person who is injured at that location.

The victim is being transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.

There are no immediate reports of suspects arrested.

UPDATE 7:40 p.m. This was a drive-by shooting that was targeting a baby shower in the 100 block of Washington Avenue.

UPDATE: 7:48 p.m. A second victim has walked into Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital suffering a gunshot wound to the arm. Police are looking for a white SUV that fled the area.

UPDATE 7:50 p.m. A white SUV is on fire at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Mariners Place in Plainfield at this time.
