Authorities Searching for Driver Involved in Fatal Hit-and-Run Case in Oregon, Wisconsin

OREGON, WISCONSIN – A bicyclist was hit by a pickup truck Friday morning on Lincoln Road and pronounced dead at the scene, the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said. Officials said the suspect may be driving a Ford pickup.

A bicyclist is dead after a hit and run this morning.

Dane County deputies say a man was riding his bike westbound on Lincoln Road in Oregon when he was struck by a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies are looking for the vehicle and driver that left the scene.

The suspect’s vehicle is being described as a Ford dually pick-up truck with a three-tone paint job with black on the bottom, tan or gold in the middle and maroon on top. The pick-up has damage to the rear tailgate and also to the front grill and front turn signal light. The truck also may have some type of rack attached to the hitch.
