Grammy-winning hip-hop star T-Pain will perform Friday, Sept. 23, at UW-La Crosse’s Recreational Eagle Center at 1601 Badger St.
T-Pain has branded his style of music “Hard & B” and titled his 2005 debut album “Rappa Ternt Sanga” (rapper turned singer). He has since released a string of hit singles, many of them collaborations with other artists, and four other albums, the most recent one, “Stoicville: The Phoenix,” released in December 2015.
Known for his use of Auto-Tune on his vocals, he won Grammy Awards for two songs, “Good Life” with Kanye West and “Blame It” with Jamie Foxx.
