Kim Kardashian has been criticized for her personal tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack in Manchester that left 22 dead and at least 59 others injured, some with life-changing injuries.
The star of reality, like many other celebrities, took social networks to share their thoughts about the situation and initially hit the right chord with a reading tweet: “I can not imagine the fear and agony that these parents should Be going through the pursuit of your Children. ”
However, she followed him four hours later with a different tweet that left many raising their eyebrows.
The mum-of-two, who is known for her attention-courting ways (going full-frontal for Paper magazine as an example), had posted a picture of herself with Ariana Grande, who narrowly escaped last night’s blast at the Manchester Arena, where she’d just finished performing.
“Concerts are supposed to be a place where u can let loose & have fun. So scary to not feel safe in this world. @ arianagrande I love you,” wrote Kim Kardashian next to the photo.
While the sentiment was sweet, many of Kim Kardashian’s fans were unsure why she’d picked an image that made her the centre of attention, while Ariana was way over to the left of the snap and not posing in a particularly flattering angle.
Kim Kardashian, of course, looked great, with the light hitting her cheekbones just so and her little sister Kendall Jenner shouting something in her ear.
Unsurprisingly, Kim Kardashian has since deleted the tweet – but not before her fans gave her a piece of their mind over it.
“We’re never going to forget when you posted an inappropriate pic and made the Manchesterbombing all about you. (Screenshots are forever,) said one of her followers.
“Wow! That’s a new low,” wrote another.
“Did she honesty do that?!” posted a third.
Meanwhile, Ariana has arrived back in the States with her mum Joan Grande nearly 24 hours after the terror attack.
She was met at Boca Raton airport in Florida by her boyfriend Mac Miller, who gave her a tender kiss after she descended from the plane.
It’s thought the private jet used by Ariana to leave the UK was donated by her friend Taylor Swift, who had earlier tweeted to send the 22 victims and scores of injured her best wishes.
“My thoughts, prayers and tears for all those affected by the Manchester tragedy tonight. I’m sending all my love,” Taylor posted last night.
