If you’re wondering where Reverend Kate Bottley has gone on Gogglebox , don’t fear – she hasn’t quit.
The vicar, who lives in Blyth, is known for her frequent appearances on Channel 4’s Gogglebox but has recently been missing from the show.
Recently replying to one of her 80,000 followers on Twitter – who were questioning why she is missing from this year’s series – the reverend revealed she and husband Graham are taking a break to support their daughter whilst she undertakes her GCSEs.
She said: “Hi, our daughter has her GCSES so we needed a break from the cameras.”

Kate previously appeared on the show, which follows her as she watched TV at home, with Graham, who teaches violin to primary school children.
On the show Kate was dubbed as the “nation’s favourite vicar”.

It was recently announced that the vicar is set to appear on the celebrity version of the BBC 2 quiz show Mastermind, which sees four contestants battle it out for the title of Celebrity Mastermind 2016 and the Mastermind Trophy.
Meanwhile, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been accused of fixing the show to help Kate’s Gogglebox co-star Scarlett Moffatt win this year’s competition.
Viewers have claimed the quirky star has received an “unfair” amount of airtime in the jungle, and even suggested bosses were given her “favouritism” when it comes to her treatment on screen.
An early favourite with bookies, many fans are still tipping her to win, with one raging: “As much as I love I’m A Celebrity, it’s getting really annoying that 90% of the airtime is filled with Scarlett, bit of favouritism going on?”
