He pulled out all the stops for his performance at the 2016 AMAs via satellite from Bologna, Italy, on Sunday.
But there was no rest for Justin Bieber, as the Sorry singer jetted out of Italy following the gig and straight to Spain to continue his Purpose tour.
But if the pop star, 22, was suffering from exhaustion he didn’t show it when he landed in Barcelona in the early hours of Monday – where he greeted fans with smiles and hugs.
Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez are often the ones in the limelight but it was Justin Bieber who stole the show on a visit to Barcelona’s training base on Monday.
The singer is in town for his current European tour; with the What Do You Mean hit-maker preparing to perform at the city’s Palau Sant Jordi arena on Tuesday night.
Ahead of the performance, the 22-year-old pop superstar made an appearance at Barcelona’s training centre where he met the attacking trio.
And it was a day to remember for Bieber, who was put through his paces by Brazil duo Neymar and Rafinha ahead of the club’s Champions League tie against Celtic.

In videos uploaded on the European giants’ Snapchat account, Bieber can be seen taking part in various drills as Luis Enrique’s side gear up for Wednesday’s clash.
The session begun with the As Long As You Love Me star going in between the goalposts, but Rafinha easily beating him with a stunning left-footed shot.
Despite the late hour of his arrival, Justin was more than happy to spend some time with his devotees, who were waiting for him outside the city’s airport.

Stepping out of arrivals with a big smile on his face, the Canadian pop star looked touched by the welcoming party that had assembled for him.
As he Strolled towards his waiting car, the Baby singer gave one excited young fan a hug.
And as a crowd of excited girl gathered around him snapping pictures and screaming with delight, the What Do You Mean? chart-topper gave another excited an embrace.
The smiling singer then said his goodbyes and hopped into his waiting car with his entourage.
Judging by his comfy clothes Justin had clearly managed to get some rest on his transatlantic hop.
Bieber then had the chance to show his penalty prowess and he came up with the goods at the first attempt by firing his low strike into the bottom corner.
And it was too late to say sorry after he showed tremendous footwork to bamboozle Neymar, who was playing in goal, and score an impressive goal.
And the fun continued when he posed for a picture with Brazilian forward Neymar – a snap which was photobombed by Rafinha.
Messi and Suarez, who weren’t taking part in Bieber’s session, then got in on the act by grabbing a picture with the man of the moment.
Barcelona will be looking to bounce back from their Champions League defeat by Manchester City when they travel to Parkhead.
Going into this week’s round of fixtures Enrique’s men are top of Group C with nine points, two ahead of second-place City.
Dresses in a pair of his own baggy Purpose tour joggers, a white tee and a shearling-lined jacket, the pop star rocked a seriously comfortable and casual look.
He rounded things off with a pair of white trainers and a black cap perched atop his head.
Justin will resume his Purpose world tour on Tuesday as he takes to the stage at Palau Sant Jordi in front of 17,000 fans.
Dates in Madrid, Portugal and London follow his gig in Barcelona, before his tour heads to Mexico.
