Josh Duggar Being Lawsuit for Allegedly Using DJ's Photo on Dating Websites

Matthew McCarthy alleges in the lawsuit the TV personality’s use of his image on Ashley Madison and other platforms has caused him to lose work and receive harassing messages, media outlets reported.

Josh Duggar has new legal woes, according to TMZ, this time from the man who claims the former Family Research Council executive director stole his image to use on dating, pornography and other social media websites.

Matthew McCarthy, a deejay based in Hollywood, Calif., claims he lost a booking and was subjected to ridicule when people saw his face on the sites, including Ashley Madison, a site for married men to cheat on their wives.

Duggar, who rose to fame thanks to his family’s right-wing conservative Christian 19 Kids and Counting reality series on TLC, admitted to cheating on his wife last year.Reportedly, he now works as a used car salesman.

McCarthy’s complaint reportedly said he’s been getting harassing messages referring to him as “Duggar’s boy toy” and “DJ Duggar.”

The deejay said in his suit he was raised in a strong-knit Catholic family, and so he’s been mortified being linked to Duggar via Twitter, OkCupid and Ashley Madison.

McCarthy is suing for the wrongful use of his image, and for an unspecified amount of money in damages, according to TMZ.
