John Cho Posts Tribute to 'Star Trek' Co-Star Anton Yelchin Following His Death

“I loved Anton Yelchin so much. He was a true artist – curious, beautiful, courageous. He was a great pal and a great son. I’m in ruins,” Cho tweeted following Yelchin’s death in an accident Sunday.

Yelchin was killed after he was crushed by his own car at his Los Angeles home on Sunday.

Now his Star Trek co-stars have paid tribute to their friend and colleague, with Cho tweeting that he was ‘in ruins’ at the news.

Cho and Yelchin were both in the rebooted Star Trek trilogy of films, playing Hikaru Sulu and Pavel Chekov respectively.

They will both appear in the third film Star Trek Beyond which is set for release this summer.

He tweeted: ‘I loved Anton Yelchin so much. He was a true artist – curious, beautiful, courageous.

‘He was a great pal and a great son. I’m in ruins.

‘Please send your love to Anton’s family right now. They need it.’
