Holly Willoughby Switches On Lights At Regent Street Christmas

With her twinkling black coat, Holly Willoughby certainly dressed for the occasion as she helped the big Christmas light switch-on in London’s Regent Street on Thursday night.

The This Morning presenter looked chic in the smart coat, worn over an entirely black ensemble with ankle boots.

Holly wore her blonde hair loose around her shoulders, the smiling star looked excited about joining Emma Bunton and Jamie Theakston at the event.

Holly wore smokey brown eye make-up teamed with a pale pink glossy lipstickas she posed for photographers.

Heart Radio breakfast show presenters Jamie and Emma were also wrapped up against the November chill, with Emma sporting a turquoise coat over a white shirt and skirt.

She added to the outfit with a pair of black tights and spiky black suede ankle boots.

Emma’s partner Jade Jones also arrived to lend his support, arriving in his trademark hat and coat.

Jamie, meanwhile, sported a smart grey coat over a white shirt, jeans and brown shoes.

But while the trio of presenters ensured they were wrapped up warm against the elements, guest singer Rebecca Ferguson was rather less swaddled, sporting a dazzling white sleeveless gown emblazoned with silver sequins.

She wore her hair in loose curls with dark eye make-up and heavy mascara teamed with a black manicure.

‘Very excited for tomorrow, see you there!’ she wrote on Twitter the previous day.

She was joined by Tom Odell among the performers on the big night.

The Regent Streets lights run the length of the popular shopping street,  across Piccadilly into St James’s, finishing at Waterloo Place.

The twinkling display features a whopping 300,000 sparkling LED lights acros W1 withy a theme ‘chosen to embrace the true meaning of the yuletide period, with giving, celebration and community at its core, accordoing to the event’s website.

Regent Street was the first ever street to display a central London Christmas lights scheme back in 1954.
