After the release of their first Everyone album post-prison Looking again in July, the ever prolific Gucci Mane has surprised its fans once again, this time with a completely free to listen opening of its LP tracking, Woptober .

The album was originally scheduled for release in October 17, but always aware of his followers, Guwop pushed the release date forward by three days.

Like an impatient child on Christmas morning, the rapper said he could not wait to share the record for most time and this, according to Gucci, was for the fans.

Still, when something is billed as “free” in music, it’s probably best to exercise a degree of caution. For example, Chance the Rapper’s Coloring Book was billed as free, but only on the basis you were a paid-up member of Apple’s $14.99 per month Apple Music platform. Woptober, however, has been made available not only via paid channels but also Gucci’s official YouTube account:

In some cases, free really does mean free, then.
