Gene Simmons was born Chaim Witz on Aug. 25, 1949, in Tirat Carmel, Haifa, Israel. He is also known by his stage persona The Demon and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Kiss in 2014.
August 25th marks the 67th birthday of legendary KISS bassist Gene Simmons. While he definitely has the habit of saying some outrageous things, the fact is, this Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is also an outstanding musician.
