CORONATION STREET viewers were left baffled last night when Ken Barlow revealed that his car had been stolen from outside his house.
Those tuning into the ITV soap watched as Adam Barlow (played by Sam Robertson) tricked Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) as she worked in the florist and stole £100 out of the till.
Not long after he took the money, his grandfather Ken (William Roach) raged at Tracy (Kate Ford) that his silver car had been stolen.
Of course, it didn’t take Tracy long before she realised who was behind both of the crimes.
But, while Adam got himself caught up in yet another dangerous drug deal and in trouble with his grandfather, those at home were more distracted by something else – the fact that Ken owned a car.
Many took to social media to comment on the soap veteran’s vehicle, which they claimed to have never seen on the cobbles before.
One fan of the Weatherfield soap tweeted: “Where does Ken Barlow normally park his car… One of the mysteries of the world #Corrie #coronationstreet.”
While another added: “I don’t remember Ken Barlow ever parking his car outside his house on #Corrie.”
“Ken’s noticed his car has gone even though he never parks it in the street #Corrie,” a third shared.
Someone else continued: “Where does Ken usually park? His car’s not usually outside his house? #Corrie”
A fifth asked: “Ken Barlow suddenly owns a car? #Corrie.”
While Adam later returned the car in one piece, it seems he’s got himself in a spot of trouble with drug dealer Ronan Truman (Colin Tierney).
As he handed over the drugs, Ronan noticed that Adam was quite cosy with his wife Trina and decided to follow him back to the street – what does he have planned for the young Barlow?
