Coco Austin and Ice T said a sad goodbye to their adored bulldog Spartacus on Sunday.
The couple announced that their adorable pet, who was only 6 years old, died due to complications from knee surgery. Both owners took to Instagram to pay tribute to their beloved dog.
“He was my 1st baby with Ice,” Austin, 37, captioned a cute snap of her pet. “There’ll never be another dog like him. Everybody that knew him thought he was very human like and so lovable.”
Ice T, 58, also shared his devastation with a photo.
“Terrible News: This morning I lost my Best Friend,” he said, explaining that Spartacus had surgery due to cancer in his knee.
My heart is hurting tremendously. Today Sparty died after knee surgery complications. He was my 1st baby with Ice.There'll never be another dog like him. Everybody that knew him thought he was very human like and so lovable.. His full name was Spartacus The Supermodel.. He was only 6.. I have been crying my brains out I'm shocked! #oneofakind ( I will still keep their pages live @spartandmax because Max won't stop posting pics)
The pup often accompanied Austin and Ice T to red carpet events and appeared in their Instagram photos. The couple are also parents to Spartacus’ son, Maximus, and manage an Instagram account following the furry duo.
Spartacus also took on the role of “big brother” when the couple’s daughter, Chanel, was born last year.
Chanel’s parents also manage an Instagram account for her, which included a sad note about missing her companion as well.
“Lost my big brother,Spartacus, today after knee surgery,” the post read. “He was a cuddler and a lover.. I had a short time with him here on earth but worth every minute of it.”
